What is this qualification?
This award gives the learner an understanding of the application. It provides a facility for mature candidates working in the electrotechnical sector to develop and/or enhance their knowledge on the assessment of occupational competence.
What are the pre-requisites?
There are no formal entry requirements for the qualifications. However, learners must have the potential to achieve all aspects of the qualification. In particular, learners should be able to demonstrate that they have the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy required for the completion of the learning outcomes and the assessment.
Who is this qualification for?
The AM2E is for experienced workers who are completing the Experienced Worker Assessment (EWA).
It can only be taken once you have gained the Experienced Worker Qualification – you will have to supply proof of this qualification before you can book the assessment.
